Selecting the right support structure
How to choose the appropriate support structure?
When selecting a support structure, two main parameters should guide you:
- The raised floor height
- The anticipated floor load
First, you need to determine the required raised floor height to the top edge of the panel and then consider the anticipated load.
If you know the required height of the usable floor space, which is the raised height without the panel and structure thickness, subtract the following from the provided heights:
- for freestanding support structures: subtract the panel thickness - usually 40 mm
- for C40 profile structures: subtract the panel thickness and the profile - 40 mm + 40 mm = 80 mm
Keep in mind that in special cases (platforms, complex shapes, etc.) a different choice of structure is possible.
Our specialists with many years of experience will be happy to help you make the right choice.
